Make a piece of work that you subject to natural processes.

Use easily degradable materials e.g. paper, fabric, plants that won’t stand the processes so all that’s left of the original work is the documentation of the processes.

Or select resilient materials e.g. wood and metal that will resist the processes and result in a piece of work that has been partially destroyed and distorted.

Once you have your piece of work select a natural process to put it through such as bury, burn, freeze.

Anything left put through another process. How many processes will it stand?

Can the documentation be put through a process?

Use the same process to create different outcomes.

Manipulate the process to change the outcome.
