1 x bun tin

1 x sketch book/diary

2 x pens

12 x £1 coins

Instructions

Remove £1 coins from the bun tin.

Starting today and then for another 11 days buy 1 x Kinder Surprise Egg with £1 enclosed.

Unwrap.

Take chocolate egg apart to reveal the yellow capsule.

Undo capsule carefully and put this to one side.

Take out the ‘surprise’ and assemble according to the instructions.

Put the ‘surprise’ into the bun tin hole on the top left of the tray.

Put the tray into a pre-heated oven at 180C for 5 minutes only.

Remove tray from oven and leave to cool.

Leave the tray as it is, including the ‘surprise’.

Using enclosed pens, make a dated diary entry, including illustrations of the surprise before and after it went into the oven.

Take the empty yellow capsule and clearly mark it with today’s date.

Put something from your day into it and reseal it.

Day two, repeat steps 1-6, then put today’s ‘surprise’ in the hole on the top row beside the first one, repeat steps 8-10, then 11 and 13.

Day three, as step 14, then put today’s ‘surprise’ in the third hole on the top row, repeat steps 8-10, then 11 and 13.

Day four, as step 14, then put today’s ‘surprise’ in the fourth (last) hole on the top row, repeat steps 8-10, then 11 and 13.

Day five, as step 14 putting the ‘surprise’ in the first hole, middle row, repeat steps 8-10, then 11 and 13.

And so on until all holes filled, the first will have been in the oven 12 times and the last only once and all others in between accordingly, and all the yellow capsules filled.

Monday – Friday (college days).

£1 should cover cost, range between 2 for £1 in Sainsburys to 98p. Please let me know if it does not and I will reimburse.

Please do whatever you like with the chocolate; eat, melt, bin, anything but please record what you do with it in the sketch book/diary.

See step 12.

Save these instructions and stick them into the sketch book/diary in the relevant date entry.

Please use test kiln (or equivalent) at college for appropriate extraction, health and safety.
